Q. What is the basic concept behind IdeaFisher?
A. IdeaFisher represents a new approach to productivity - which can be thought of as the ability to leverage your use of time - in that it acts as a second brain, an artificial intelligence that helps users to think outside strict and traditional paradigms of thought. The human mind has a vast capacity for
recognizing important and relevant information, but a much smaller capacity for recalling data. IdeaFisher's vast database provides the solution to the human mind's shortfall.
Q. Does IdeaFisher really probe my inner-most thoughts in helping me create new ideas?
A. Yes, as you use this program, you may get an occasional uneasy feeling at times, since the program will prompt you to examine your personal feelings, experiences, values and ideas as they relate to the course of creativity you are seeking.
Q. Is IdeaFisher easy to use?
A. The IdeaFisher tutorial should take you about an hour to complete and this will give you a feel for the IdeaFisher program. The manual is straight forward and is packed with handy user tips. Once you understand it, the software is very simple and you can be receiving new ideas in practically moments.

Q. Can I upgrade from a 2.0
or 5.0 to a 6.0 ?
A. Yes, the most extensive
move was from the original version of DOS to 6.0. There
have been two upgrades since the 4.0 DOS. The first was
to our 5.0 Windows version (a complete program within
itself) which includes a much improved,
"user-friendly" interface. In addition it
gives a 10% increase in the IdeaBank database. Imagine,
that's more than 5,000 new associations and almost
100,000 new associative links! You will find everyday
concepts and ideas such as "channel surfing"
"Dolphin Safe," "Jurassic Park,"
"Los Angeles riots," "no-brainer,"
"Hakeem Olajuwon," "Snapple," "Soloflex,"
and thousands more.
The second one, the Windows 6.0 upgrade, takes you from
version 5.0 to the current version of 6.0 and includes
the addition of the Consultants Module (which is worth
the price in itself). You must first have your previous
Windows 5.0 version loaded onto your computer so that
this 6.0 upgrade can integrate into it.
If you now own the Macintosh 2.0 or 2.0.5 program, you
can take one big jump to the most current version, 6.0
you can purchase the Macintosh 6.0 upgrade (a complete
program within itself). You must provide your current
serial number first.
Q. How do the modules work
?
A. IdeaFisher question sets
are tools to allow you to drill deep into the center of
your problem or situation - right into the core. By
using the words which describe that core and
re-associating with them, you'll discover the answers
for which you've been searching.
Q. What's the difference between the 6.0 and PRO ?
A. They both contain the
IdeaBank (the associational database).
Writer's Edge does not accept Add-On Modules.
IdeaFisher 6.0 accepts
Add-On Modules and comes with the built in Modules of
Advertising/Promotion, Marketing Strategy, Consultant's,
Evaluate and Personal.
The 6.0 program is geared somewhat
toward newer or smaller businesses. By adding modules
you can gear it toward larger or established businesses.
